School Life

Hi guys!
I have started school on Monday and so far so good!
The teachers are adorable, we are 9 in the class in total but I still haven't met 1 of the girls.
We have all the same subjects as you do except that I have 2 or 3 periods of  Math 2 of French 2 of Science and so on.

We have a 30 minute break with birthday cakes from time to time and we get to play in the 1 meter deep snow!!!
For those of you coming to Verbier..... well you wont regret it!

We take a VIS bus (Very Important Students XD) to the canteen everyday (and the food is freshly cooked REAL food!) and because we are the oldest students we get to go back to school walking every time...... SNOW TIME WHOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we have school until 3:30 where we usually go home unless we have activities like Drama or clubs like the Debate club or the Homework club (It's not as bad as it sounds we basically get to ask the teachers anything about the homework they gave us and they help us with it so that we can get free time at home!)

We also have set time, classes, teachers and more! We start at 8:30 have break at 10:30 (I think) lunch at 12:30 end of lessons at 3:30 and finally activities at 4:30. We have a one week fish day and 7 day snow day! I ski the whole of Friday in school and we do lots of day outs! My teachers are Mrs. Sokoloski, Mr. Desilets Mr. Decoudres (The headmaster) and M. Roth.

I cant wait to see whoever is coming to Verbier!
Say hi to Mr. Burt and Mrs.Hall for me and give her my best regards. Also say hi to Lachlan if you see him!

Miss you,
Speak again soon!

Setteling in Verbier by Charlotte van der List

Hi everyone!
I have arrived in Verbier and have found the time to edit this blog again!
It has been a few busy past weeks packing unpacking moving etc...........
To summarize the past weeks ;
Week 1 was all about packing up my house in Hong Kong. I did not recognize my house by the time we had to leave...... You can get confirmation off my friends. I left HK on Saturday 13 December 2015. We got to Paris the following day with a bit of confusion concerning the luggage and by luggage I mean my Labrador dog Bambou, because the luggage panel didn't indicate which gate to go to for the baggage reclaim.....
On week 2 we were in a small village in France called Faverolles where my grandparents reside:

Then we hit the road and headed to Verbier. We stopped in Nuit-Saint-Georges;

where my dads side of the family (his Uncle, Aunt, and Cousins) hold a wine farm. (le Domain Chauvnet) We had lunch there and started to head back to Verbier. We got there at around 6pm

On week 3 we went skiing for the first time and my grandparents came for a visit. they stayed for the week and left back to Faverolles.

On the fourth week we had friends who came over, a just married couple, who stayed for a week. They are a team and work as photographers. He takes the pictures and she edits them.

And finally on the 5th week we had another friend come over.... she's a single pringle!
She also happens to be a countess who ,we tease her about it all the time, only skis from bar to bar, one slope, and the snow has to be fresh. Oh! I almost forgot, her time limit is 9:30 and it has to be a cloudless somewhat warm day! She is still here and already skied once!!!

Today I start school again. I am writing this last part of my blog just before I get ready to leave.
I really wish I could be back home in HK, but some things have to happen... on the more positive note though the snow is absolutely gorgeous here (around 30cm of snow!)

For those of you who kept my slip of paper you can give me your emails and I can send you a few pictures of the snow, new years eve, Christmas, skiing, my messy bedroom... and for the others that decided to come to the ski trip (that I know of that's 2 of you) I'll see you there!
